Snap I use BigGreenSmile too. I use a lot of Faith in Nature shampoos and conditioners etc and I also buy a lot of Meet The Bulldog products too. I am a fan of Astonish and Method products BUT wish they would emit the optical brighteners out of the liquid as I rather not use them. I do use...

Colour Care Powder - Soon to be gone?

Perhaps it is the Optical brighteners a lot of people are allergic to?

    Ariel Colour 3in1 Pods

Thanks Liamy! Makes a lot of sense and very informative. If I went back to bio powder it would have to be Persil Bio or Surf as the rest smell dreadful. I like the smell of purple box surf and that smells like how Ariel used to smell.

Liamy, That would be helpful if you did find that comment from the person who worked at Unilever. I have a Bosch washer which I got in 2013 and I know it rinses well providing you get a low sudsing detergent. I did use Tide HE liquid and found that it worked quite well but I have found there is...

Just curious to know how others have found these? I find them ok but only get them on special offer. Regarding rinsing if there are water droplets on the door glass of the washing machine does that mean the detergent has fully rinsed out?

What do people think of the new Persil available in USA?

What do people think of the new Persil available in USA?

When I mean better I mean in terms of stain removal, colour protection, foam control etc.

What do people think of the new Persil available in USA?

Do you think Persil is better than Ariel? I remember in the 90's Persil was the recommended detergent by most washer manufacturers now its Ariel. What does the bio powder smell like? Been years since I used it and if it smelt like green box Ariel id avoid it.

    EU Vacuum Cleaner Ban

My Henry is 1200 watt but has better suction than a lot of the more expensive cleaners out there. I always thought the higher the wattage the better the air suction but that obviously isn't the case.

    My first automatic collection piece...

Sorry typing error, it had Hotpoint Limited Peterborough Great Britain on the back of the cabinet.

    My first automatic collection piece...

I thought Hotpoint were made in Peterborough? I briefly owned a Hotpoint 95 series machine and it had Hotpoint, Peterborough Limited unless that was where Head Office was and not the production plant. Real shame we don't make Hotpoint anymore.

That's what I thought myself. Three I believe is 3/4G only. I'm with EE and find the network reliable for rural areas.

Colour Care Powder - Soon to be gone?

When did Unilever start putting OB in Persil colour liquid? I thought it was just the bio and non bio that contained them?

Colour Care Powder - Soon to be gone?

I remain skeptical too lol. I don't believe anything the manufacturer tells us. Even the recommended amount of detergent for hard water is daft they just do that so you buy more sooner.
