I believe Sears had the high speed dryers at the time, That is correct Tyler. and yes Hans it is a 1958 model.. If I am not mistaken those early Kenmore High Speed Dryers had a screw in fuse under the lint trap door next to the lint screen. I am not sure though what was the reason for it...

It had a 348 V8 and Tubro Hydra Matic, not Powerglide. Eddie unless the original transmission in that 1961 Nomad was replaced at a later date... I think the transmission was Turbo GLIDE which was offered as a 3 speed alternative to Powerglide offered from 1957 to 1961. PAT COFFEY

maybe GE had discontinued the single door Combos by 1960? GE made a single door combo all the way up to 1962. In 1963 they replaced the single door model with a 2 door model about the same size. PAT COFFEY

Does the iron have a rubber or cloth cord? If it has a rubber cord that means it can be no earlier then 1973 as that is when GE stopped putting cloth cords on their irons. PAT COFFEY
