Congratulations on the acquisition. I saw that machine posted and debated whether or not to make the drive up from Rhode Island to get. Since I'm thinking about reducing my collection, I decided against it. That really is a great find. Hope you get many, many good years out of it. Ron

As a big-time Monitor washer collector, I can tell you there were several different models available. One with pump. One without pump. And one model even had an electric wringer. I'll try to get some pictures up of my collection over the next few days. Ron

Absolutely not. Unfortunately, I do not have pictures, but the entire tub for the washing machine is removed, leaving just a shaft. Then the entire dishwashing unit is placed in the machine. I'm probably not explaining that very well, but perhaps you get the idea. Ron

It actually is an engineering marvel. The washing machine unit and the dishwasher units are completely separate. No chance of "cross-contamination." Ron

Just to add my two cents on this, the problem with this type of collecting (vintage appliances) is location and acquiring the machine. Several times, machines have been offered for sale on this site that I would like to add to my collection, but they're located so far away. And as we all know...
