I'm brand new to this website so first off hello to everyone.
I recently purchased a beautiful 1968 Kenmore model 110.6814700. It is a very low miles machine and I am the third owner. When I first got it the belt would squeal for a few seconds when it kicked into spin mode. I sprayed the belt with some belt dressing and seems to have cured the squeals but I would like to buy a new belt for it just to have available if the belt on the machine, which I believe to be the original belt, starts giving me problems again. I've been to dozens of online appliance parts websites and nobody lists a belt for this machine. I did generically search for belts for vintage whirlpool washers and found a belt listed as the most common drive belt for older Whirlpool/Kenmore washers but have no idea if it's the correct belt. The part number is WP95405. I hope someone out ther knows if this is the correct belt or not. If not does anyone know the correct part number I would need?
I am including a couple pictures and a link to a video I posted on You Tube of the machine in action. Thanks for any help you can provide.
