Hi Steve. Excellent save - definitely one of the rarer GDA spinners and a bit different from the norm. Love the styling, with the big chunky lid handle - certainly would be a lot easier to access the spin can, when compared to the usual Hotpoint grab the lid edge lark. Great stuff. Paul

Obviously your machine James, so you do what you want with it, but personally - i'd leave the dial cap alone. Haven't the foggiest idea why the UK version of the Selectamatic was styled in such a way to make it an uncomfortable match with the dryer and so different to the rest of the range...

Question is, did your A2054 receive a white door due to damage to the original, or did the German market get a less bling version for their market? Certainly, the Italians had full bling ....
