Help me to become more Eco Friendly

Well I have to admit, I never seem to get round to using 30 on my Miele even though I should do. When I do use that temperature, it's only for delicates and woolens lol. But I will start using lower temperature washes soon and with a bit of luck, the load will come out as clean as it would at...

    Ebay UK - June

Blomberg No, these models are not made by Fagor. They are however made by parent Italian company SanGiorgio. The machines look similar in design and apperance. They were also sold as a Ocean.

    The Apprentice-Dishwasher Style (U.K)

In 2nd place and the runner-up is the Siemens. A nice machine with loads of great innovative features but it's not quite what I'm looking for.

    The Apprentice-Dishwasher Style (U.K)

The next to go and in 3rd place is the Bosch. A superb and capable machine but it's not really for me.

    The Apprentice-Dishwasher Style (U.K)

In week 12, it was the final. Of the 4 remaining candidates, only 1 will become The Apprentice. Now, I'm going to put them out of their misery. In 4th place and the next to go is the AEG. Good but not quite good enough.

New machines on youtube i've discovered

Great vids as usual. The Miele Sensor Electronic is an engineering masterpiece. The touch sensitive buttons are 20+ years ahead of BSH using it on their machines. I enjoy seeing it in action and if I found a similar UK model, I'd have it lol. It's essentially the mid-80's version of my machine...

    The Apprentice-Dishwasher Style (U.K)

In week 11, It was the final interviews and the John Lewis was the next to go. Although it looks classy and has plenty of features, the styling of it is just too plain for my liking and it will date quickly.

    The Apprentice-Dishwasher Style (U.K)

In week 10, The Electrolux was the next to go. Although it's of good quality and reliability, it just didn't cut it in this crucial stage of the competition.

    Washing babyclothing.

I do hope that you will get a new machine soon to replace your current Hotpoint. That Zanussi shown here looks like a good bet lol!

    Whirlpool New Front Loader!

What? A Whirlpool made in China? Looks similar to the Italian produced models lol! I do hope it lasts for a good while without it going wrong. It's also worth keeping in mind that BSH (Bosch/Siemens) also produces machines in China, I've seen a Chinese produced Bosch washer-dryer on Youtube...

    Washing babyclothing.

I know a couple of great machines that will ensure that all the detergent is rinsed out. There's the Maytag/Asko machines with the 7 rinse feature and the Indesit Moon with the special rinse sensor. But my Miele rinses fine, no matter how many there are in a programme.

    Washing babyclothing.

The best detergents to use are the usual ones from Ariel, Persil and Fairy although own-brands work just as well as them. One good thing to use is Filetti, although I haven't used it myself but it is worth a look. Apparently it is recommended by Miele lol!

    Washing babyclothing.

The best way of washing baby clothing is to use a Non-Biological detergent as well as using the Extra Rinse option as often as possible. That's what I'd do if I had any to wash although it's unlikely in my household lol.

    The Apprentice-Dishwasher Style (U.K)

In week 9, The Haier was the next to go. Although it has plenty of features, there are doubts over quality and reliability. It should of been fired long ago.
