Am I the only one here who hates side by side refrigerators?  My new apartment has one, and I find the narrow compartments to be very inconvenient.  Having to dig through the bin at the bottom of the freezer is a nightmare.

One of the reasons I like #4 is that it doesn't have a troublesome Sensi-Temp burner. The only other problem I can think of when buying a classic GE range is that the clock probably either doesn't work, or is on it's last legs.

For those us up north where it's quite cold during winter, heating the entire house with electric resistance heaters would be cost prohibitive.   According to The National Fire Protection Association, electric stoves cause more fires than gas stoves.

I found a Mixmaster recipe for "Orange Delight Cake".  Is this the one you're looking for?    

For bread or large batches of cookie dough we use our Kitchenaid 600, but for cake batter I like my original unrestored Sunbeam Mixmaster model 5 circa 1939.  With the Sunbeam, I find it convenient that I can scrape the bowl while it's spinning.
