kenwashesmonday -

Ironic.... because I was kind of wishing it did have the sensitemp burner. Hmmmm.

I found another one that does have it, also quite close to me. The serial number is confusing me - I can't figure out when it was made. (photo 3)

I do like the push buttons, and the burners look nice and flat like they should be.

Sensi-Temp burners can be finicky or no longer viable per many posts about GE ranges here over the years, and parts to repair them are difficult to find.  It's possible though, that the #4 stove in your OP has a properly working Sensi-Temp burner since it seems to have seen less than average use.  The wonky burners on stove #4 are likely not seated properly in their bowls.

If clocks on GE stoves don't run, the cause is almost always a bad rotor.  They were made by Telechron, which GE eventually purchased, and are easily revived or changed out, depending on the type of rotor.  The older and larger H-3 types can be brought back to life, but the newer, smaller S-type rotors need to be replaced.  You can find them on eBay.  The smaller S-type rotors replaced the H-types sometime in the late '60s or early '70s.

I do like the push buttons on the latest stove you posted.  Kind of a throwback to the older models.

1967!

Thank you for identifying the year! I found a vintage ad on ebay indicating the same, but thought it was too early.

Once I find out if the cost of running power to my kitchen is doable, I will have to decide which one to get -  #4 in my original post, or #5 in reply #20.  I hope it's fine to make a new post with the final two with lots of pictures for your expert opinions.

Initially #4 seems like a no-brainer because of its excellent condition inside and out, plus it comes with the original manual. But it's not been tested and the tippy burners concern me. I hope they are simply not seated correctly.

#5 has those cool push buttons and the sensi-temp, which I know can be problematic but if it's still working?... It is able to be plugged in so I can test. #5 also has timed outlets - I am not sure if #4 does.

The other advantage of #4 is that it's in a garage, so pickup will be simple. #5 is in a second floor kitchen with a stairway that makes a 90 degree turn. (o_o)

What I like about both is that the control panels are light colored, not sure if that is silver/metal or white.
