Love the pictures. I miss my reverse-rack. I wish they still made them. They were the best to load. I wonder how well they would do with less water usage, a longer cycle and the new detergents. If they could make them energy efficient to today's standards.

Bosch dishwashers seems to have much stronger sprays. Especially the upper rack. Maybe that’s why my pots seemed to come out cleaner in the top rack. They get washed by the bottom and top spray arms alternately at all times. See link below

Thanks. I've seen them with the electronic sensor at the back of the drum. I see the drum is lit on picture 10 of 10, in the first set of pics. But the hole on the bulkhead is closed, in the other pictures. So I am wondering if the light was added on when refurbishing the machine.

Did you install a drum light on the dryer? I never saw a portable Whirlpool dryer with a drum light.

Nice Set. Maybe you could paint the front panel of the washer to the solid avocado color. On the Lucy show, the dryer was the earlier model, the HOH (Halo of heat) dryer, with the smaller door, and the lint filter at the back of the drum.

Here’s the Amana version, at my local Rona store ( Lowe’s Canada). Not a fan of the oversized round doors. Sideways, they look like giant toilet seats.

The Skip detergent design looks similar to some Persil products....

Great find. That wash arm looks very commercial dishwasher style. I am sure it can spray all the way up to the top of the tub.
