Bosch i'm a bit surprised about the issues with the Bosch. i have one for 15 years without a single issue, other than really clean dishes :) left in the place when i moved out and now have a new one which seems to be doing great so far.

1-18s are great and the rinsing is amazing. just one spray rinse and the water is typically pretty clear in the deep rinse. Only thing to be careful about is how much detergent you put in. It takes any detergent you use and makes tons of suds....like a comedy show if you aren't careful...

Frigidaire dryers Strangely John I've collected 3 Frigidaire 1-18 dryers all from the 70s, all in working order, all in KC in that last 10 years. I guess a few of them made it through the long haul. Greg

1967? My grandparents had this same washer (or at least the console ) and they got theirs in 1967 or 68.

frigidaire with a faster spin speed, better rinsing, and comparable cleaning, I think I'd choose the frigidaire.

nice dryer my grandmother had this model and only used it to dry towels...everything else went outside on the line. I can't imagine it was heavily used but it went away at some point, I think when both maytags were replaced with whirlpools

1-18 i have a 1-18 dryer that i might be willing to part with; it was running when put in the garage a few years ago in Kansas City

measured them sunday unfortunately i did not write the part number down and am not where they are now. The panels measure 19 X 23.5. lower panel 6.5 X 23.5. Does that make them 70s or 80s panels?

i have a set of color panels for a kitchen aid DW from the 70/80s ...has white/almond/coppertone/avocado.....found them in the garage today. Let me know if interested....free to a good home.
