Tried it…it works I went into settings on my WXD160 and changed it to cold fill only (P25 Water Intake … set to 01 ). I shut off the hot tap and left the cold on. I ran a cycle with a 40C setting and it heated up just the same as when it was set to Hot Water. Bob

I switched from a gas vented LG dryer to the Miele T1 about a month ago. I’ve been seriously impressed at how well the dryer works relative to the LG. Cycle times are similar but the clothes come out so much softer than on the LG. It is way more gentle in its drying than the LG. Bob

I have not changed that function on mine but I have run a 75C cycle from a cold fill (hot water heater at machine was off before I started the cycle) and had no issues. I think that setting only eliminates the machine from filling from the hot inlet. Bob

Our LG did not have TurboWash. We used Sanitary/Sanitize quite a bit. We also used the Normal cycle. Everything always had at least one extra rinse selected.

At one point, I had tried that in the LG with no success. I’m not sure why it works better in the Miele. Bob

The App! I went into the App and it is possible to select Extras like PreWash and WaterPlus in the Miele app. Thanks to everyone who suggested it. As far as Proofing, it is a single fill, tumble, drain and spin. Bob
