I've heard the filter-flo platform was outdated and then they went to the model T. from a design standpoint, who's was the most advanced technologically in your opinion?

What did you think of their design versus GE and Whirlpool? Who's design do you think was way ahead of their time?

Is the Maytag set belt drive or direct drive? Whirlpool seemed to be ahead of their time ahead of everybody else, including GE as far as their direct drive is concerned.

They were high-tech compared to the GE filter-flo, and from what I read they were built off a computer-driven assembly line.

Whirlpool must've had the most advanced technology back then when the DD came out.

I would say 2011.

I also use Snuggle super fresh original softener which smells a heck of a lot better than Downy April Fresh, in my opinion. I wish P&G would just leave well enough alone.

I'd use the default normal cycle for colors. They shouldn't fade.

I use the normal cycle more often than not so that's not an issue for me. I've found them easy to use since 2008.

LG is where it's at. I have the Kenmore Elite version with the accelawash which works just like turbowash. Clothes are always saturated.

I prefer the scent of Persil. It is much more pleasant and masculin to me. The advanced clean has a citrus scent which I enjoy.
