I'm curious about how big the Whirlpool plant was, considering they claimed to be the largest washer factory in the world. When did they incorporate advanced technology? I am interested to know when their design was ahead of their time. The prime example for me would be the direct drive washer.

What about other appliances? How about their laundry? I'd love to know more. I would love to see that trend return but I doubt that would happen.

What about other washer designs, dryers and dishwashers? What features stood out from everybody else? When did they become the juggernaut?

Well, I don't. If it hadn't been for Whirlpool, Maytag would've been worse off.

I've had the oil on the floor episode, although I miss that washer and dryer pair. I will never forget its characteristic sounds.

I'd go with the speed queen if you want modern, but the whirlpool if you want the best all around quality.

What replaced their double duty super surgilator? I remember GE had the ramped activator.

I swear, I wish they'd bring back the filter-flo and potscrubber but I doubt that's ever gonna happen.

I like my cheese to taste nice. I like the stringy type. That's just my preference. I use the mozzarella type in my shrimp Alfredo casserole.

Wow! What was the best of the best in their lineup? I love the powerful turbulence Whirlpool washers are known for.

Hey guys, what did you think was the best surgilator from Whirlpool? What did you think of their power? To me, their surgilator action is very buttery smooth.
