GE Evaporator Fan Motor Part #WR60X10126

Well if no one else chimes in later.... I found this blog referencing your part number. Reply #11 says he used a WR60X10300. https://www.appliancejunk.com/forums/index.php?PHPSESSID=j4tqvu10k4tlh3k14he0fdqgp3&topic=15548.msg81969

    Coldspot wall AC

Watch the meter spin... Once again...6,000 BTUs for 10amps? A new GE will give you 10,000 BTUs for 7.5 amps, and probably 12,000 or more for 10amps. No wonder my parents never ran the window unit at night when I was a kid at home. Only on a very few nights did they run it all night and what a...

    GE A/C

Watch the meter spin... GE Carry Cools are tremendous energy hogs by todays standards. I went back and looked at an old post on one of these. 7.5 amps for 4,000 BTUs. A current model GE window unit will give you 10,000 BTUs for the same 7.5 amps.

    Spotted at Peddlers Auction...

Hear the difference ? Are you just going to be listening to the compressor drone on? LOL The problem is I have nothing to play a record on anymore...

1962 GE Spacemaker TC469 Refrigerator - "Repaired" - still does not work. NEED HELP!

GE and Panasonic I wouldn't be as concerned about it being Panasonic, as to the sloppy way it was installed. To me it doesn't even look like its bolted down on the side we see in the picture. GE started using Panasonic compressors around mid 80's, eliminating the "lunchbox" style compressor...

    Air conditioner "looks" vintage anyway

GE Yep, I agree with John. You can make out the GE logo on the top left of the control cover, as well as the spine fin condenser, show its a GE.

1962 GE Spacemaker TC469 Refrigerator - "Repaired" - still does not work. NEED HELP!

R134a compressor Can you use an R134a compressor in place of one that was R12 to start with? With the small amounts of refrigerant and capillary tubes, refrigerators are very temperamental creatures to begin with.

    GE Hot Start??

Start-stop-start-stop.... So how many of the new dishwashers start and stop to alternate spray arms? I realize every machine stops periodically, but one review on the new GE's said the machine started/stopped every 15 seconds and drove her nuts. I think it might bother me too, no matter how...

    New Dishwasher Shopping

Those 2 smaller motors look similar to the drain pump used in my 2007 GE washer, lol. Oh for the days of 1/3 to 1/2 HP motors used in the older MT and KA dishwashers. I'd gladly pay a few cents more to operate them, knowing they were up to the task. Wish I had my MT WU901 back now!

    Old General Electric air conditioner

12,000 BTUs are 12,000 BTUs whether it is in 1958 or 2018. A lot of the air temp drop depends on CFM. Per #6 above, the slower the airflow across the coil, the colder it will become, and the faster the less cool it will be. I just think many of the older units had slower airflow, therefore it...

    Old General Electric air conditioner

240V / 12,000 BTU ! Yeah, a 12,000 BTU AC on 240V? All new 12K ACs do that on 120V now with higher EERs. John's right, the electric utility will love sending you the bill on this unit.

    GE wall oven

Likely 60 years old...ha The exact same oven in my parents house built in 1958. They had the stainless one lucky for them, as many neighbors had pink, yellow and blue hues, unless that's what you wanted. I seriously doubt the clock works anymore at that age either. The one we had quit after...

    A three-year-old Embraco compressor

Embraco The local used appliance store repairman prefers that brand to replace with when possible. LG and Samsung sometimes make that hard, if not impossible to do, according to him. They get shipping crates of refrigerators in from who knows where, so he does quite a few of them. Very...

URGENT: My '57 GE Combination -- Is it Done For?

You might try a used appliance store for help. I went into one here and the guy changes out many compressors while refurbishing different brands and sizes of used refrigerators they get in for resale. It would be a little out of their normal line of work, but for the right price, they might...

Party Line Telephone Service - Tell Me Why

5 party line ? With 5 on a line, how would you call any of them, assuming you wanted to. My parents had a 2 party line, for economics I'm sure. Wichita wouldn't have had line limitation issues. But the party we were with was a family across the street that we were friends with. So if we wanted...

Meet the "New" Whirlpool SKU-70-0 dishwasher!

Vinyl on steel... I wasn't aware of others doing vinyl on steel tub and door dishwashers but GE back then. Not one of the best examples of American engineering. Nice machine though[this post was last edited: 1/22/2019-13:39]

    Westinghouse S & P

Anybody have any interest in these? I was at the Antique Market and just decided to pick them up and post them on here. They are missing the corks in the bottom, but in good shape otherwise.

    Interesting but non-working Frigidaire fridge

No expert here, I'll leave that to John L. My refrigeration repair days ended in my 20s when I went to work aircraft the last 40 years. My contact man for refrigerant at the wholesale business retired, and I had no EPA license to buy more, so I even quit doing it on the side at that point. I...

    Interesting but non-working Frigidaire fridge

Meter miser When I said Meter Miser, I basically meant they used the rotary designed compressors that were extremely durable and reliable. I wasn't aware and didn't keep up with the names Frigidaire used over the years. My friend and I actually took lower HP models and used them for a poor...

    Interesting but non-working Frigidaire fridge

Runs but doesn't cool Frigidaire refrigerators from GM always had the bulletproof metermiser compressor, so when they quit cooling, its likely a refrigerant leak, and often in the evaporator. Not worth the effort IMHO
