    GE Potscrubber II

GSD950 Cool dishwasher. These are good performers, but serious water hogs and they do have their quirks in the early production models. They are unique. They were the first machines with GE's Permatuf tub. They were also the first models by GE to offer a full size wash arm under the top rack...

Going to pick up a vintage dish washer

GE Washer basket Hi Jon, i'm sorry i don't actually have a basket. I used that term to describe the model series the parts I have went to (perf tub vs. solid tub). We do get filter flo machines donated to our store time to time (mostly Hotpoint branded). If one comes in that has a decent...

    Water level switch woes

The water level switch needs to be from a standard capacity Whirlpool belt drive.  They all had the same size outer tub so a switch from any one will work without issue.  The only issue you may have is the switch mounting.  Due to changes in the control panel design over the years the mounts are...

    KA Dishwasher

No, it's a KDP20. Control panel is labeled Energy Saver V. A very good model & relatively quick. It purged water between certain phases to keep it hot enough for the machine to heat it it properly. Used significantly less water than the 19, but only one heating period.

    Kitchenaid KDS17A

Water enters the machine from the left side through a small port on the sidewall (it has a white or blue cap on it). When this model starts a Full cycle the timer first has to move through the soak section. This takes a few seconds so water does not enter immediately. Once the timer stops...
