Gregory, I can't say for sure, but I'm thinking this is probably a 1952 model.  Looks like it's really good at generating frost - and rust.  TLC will take care of the rust and new gaskets will go a long way towards slowing down the formation of frost.   Congratulations on your $40 toy!  ...
