Friends in Dallas had this washer. One of my earliest memmories of Kenmore washers. Neighbor had the dryer until around 1974 or so.

Neighbor across the stret had that same gas Kenmore dryer until early 1970s.

I have lived in an all-electric house since January 1986. IF I ever have another house, I will make sure it's not all-electric. Even if I have to have butane tank in back yard. Besides, my other half has also made the request at least gas cook top.

That's what they called the all-american or match-all kenmore dryer. Intended to compliment any washer. My former next door neighbor had the same dryer but with a different style panel but with the same exact features.

for what extremely very little I wash by hand, I've always used Dawn.

The 4 cycle buttons are Rinse & Hold, Light Wash, Normal Wash, and Sani Wash. There was a little light behind the cycle dial. Temperature indicator lights were cool, normal, delay for water heating, and sani for final rinse temperature level had been reached to 155F.

I wish they had no scents at all for kitchenware/dishware/pasticware!!!!
