Thank you....
Thank you for your input and suggestions.
The unit is almost like new and is quality-built.
My mother bought a CRG500 with standard clean oven in 1983 (Harvest Gold). Dad still has it. I always thought if I could get my hands on one of those Hardwick-builds I would jump at it...
Hello,
My "new" Maytag acquisition was manufactured in July of 1984 at the Hardwick Stove plant.
I am wondering if anyone knows of a source of electric motors that would get the clock working on this unit.
Model LCRG600 it was the top-of-line at the time. It was an estate sale find and cleaned...
Superba only
What you describe here as the cycle sequence sounds correct. I have seen the cycle description for the Superba model of that time frame. It was described in the "Use & Care" guide. The final rinse uses a gallon of water that is heated. Only the Superba does this.
Nice capacity on that washer
Nice capacity on that washer, I wonder when WP/Kenmore came out with the larger capacity wash basket. It makes the capacity on my Kenmore 800 look pale by comparison. Your model's capacity looks great!!!
Maytag belt-drive dishwasher
Congrats on searching for a fix for your Maytag dishwasher. I hope you are able to find the belt for a reasonable price.
When I was a junior in HS (1980) we got a WC700 in harvest wheat. We loved that machine! It is still in place but is seldom used since my 80 year...
Drifting to Maytag Jetclean
Hello Dustin,
Glad you like your Maytag Jetclean!
I have a few Maytags. Back in 1986 when I was working at Whirlpool and living in an apartment in St. Joseph MI - with no dishwasher, I went out and bought a convertible / portable Whirlpool Power Clean dishwasher...
The 712
The 712 is unusual in that the Electronic Control is still in the circuit for timed drying. So basically the timer motor stopping is exactly what it is supposed to to. The Electronic sensor takes over until the load is dry and then the timer motor advances.
However the dryer should not...
The Draper Dishwasher
That dishwasher went in for Season #3 I believe. There is an episode where the maid turns on the dishwasher. You can actually hear it running.
Personally I would have hoped they would have installed a KitchenAid. But seeing a dishwasher in that kitchen was a treat!
Soothing sound
I agree. I love the sound of the Maytag belt model dishwashers. And then the sound of the centrifugal switch when the motor coasted to a stop. AHH!
Does it leak?
Did the clog get removed? From the pics, it's difficult to see damage.
Bob and I apparently like buttons!!. Yes buttons are good. Temp Boost is great!
It looks very nice and clean.
