Maytag Atlantis Dryer MDE6400AYW - Loose baffle

So... My dad decided he's going to order a new baffle online. He theorized that the plastic in the loose baffle is broken, and even if we found the screws deep inside the dryer, it wouldn't be worth the hassle to attempt to fix the existing baffle. I did some searching and found the correct...

Maytag Atlantis Dryer MDE6400AYW - Loose baffle

We've had this dryer for about 14 years now, and this issue just happened today. My dad's girlfriend was doing laundry today, and I noticed this thumping noise coming from the dryer. So I went to investigate it not too long ago, and found out that one of the baffles was loose! We were in a...

LG WM2650HWA - Detergent pacs clogging pump filter?

@rolls_rapide My LG washer does not have a recirculation pump. @laundromat I always put pods directly in the drum before loading the washer. I never use the dispenser drawer. I have a feeling I should go back to liquid detergent...

LG WM2650HWA - Detergent pacs clogging pump filter?

Hmm... @launderess Not sure if I'll consider doing a thing like that, as it seems like extra work. @panthera Here's my take on your suggestions: 1) That sounds like a neat trick! I'll have to try that next time. 2) We're using Kirkland Signature (Costco) fabric softener. Not sure about the...

LG WM2650HWA - Detergent pacs clogging pump filter?

@wishwash Yes, I generally always use fabric softener. However, it doesn't really contribute to buildup. I've never seen it while using liquid detergent. @launderess I usually shake out laundry before washing it. I'm not sure how those rubber bands got down into the filter. These are the tiny...

LG WM2650HWA - Detergent pacs clogging pump filter?

I've had this LG front-load steam washer for 4 years. Last night I decided to clean the pump filter, after having not done it in a long time. So I opened the access door and drained the water into a measuring cup. It was filthy! Then I took out the pump filter and found it clogged with hair and...

    New dishwasher, finally!

Early impressions I ran this dishwasher for the first time last night. Using Finish Powerball detergent tabs, it excels at cleaning dishes, but struggles with drying. As a result, I had to dry a lot of dishes using a towel. The machine is very quiet during operation. We can barely hear it going!

    New dishwasher, finally!

Celebration! The new dishwasher has finally arrived, exactly 1 month later! It looks very fancy in my kitchen. I've already loaded it up with dirty dishes. However, the big problem is that we don't have any dishwasher detergent. Here are a few pics. The dishwasher was run after installation...

    New dishwasher, finally!

Since I've moved into my current home in 2001, my family has owned a Kenmore dishwasher. The model number is 363.14382000. It washed dishes really well; however, it has had to be repaired by my dad several years into its lifespan. There were several leaking issues. The last straw was in late...

Water sitting in my LG 2650 washer's liquid detergent cup

Not really RevvinKevin, I don't really have a need to check the drawer during a cycle when I use pods. Nmassman44, I'm not sure what the water pressure level is in my house. For whatever reason, it varies on some rare occasions. My washer only started doing this several months ago.

Water sitting in my LG 2650 washer's liquid detergent cup

I always do that What I meant was that I need to remove the cup from the drawer during operation to prevent the water "issue" from happening. I have never had problems with a pod not dissolving completely.

Water sitting in my LG 2650 washer's liquid detergent cup

I always pour in detergent and other additives just before starting the washer (meaning I add them before turning on the machine and selecting the cycle and options). I have done delay starts on some rare occasions. If I use detergent pods, I'll have to remove the cup.

Water sitting in my LG 2650 washer's liquid detergent cup

Update #2 First of all, I did check the jets above the drawer. They looked clean. I gave them a quick scrub down after washing the drawer. Second, I emptied the cup and let it dry multiple times. Water still sits in there half the time. And no, I haven't had to have a water valve serviced. I...

Water sitting in my LG 2650 washer's liquid detergent cup

Update So I did some laundry over the weekend. I found this happening in the middle of one cycle.

Water sitting in my LG 2650 washer's liquid detergent cup

OK... So last night, I inspected the cup and white cover piece, and neither object was clogged. Then I took out the detergent drawer, removed the blue covers and washed the entire drawer assembly. I'll eventually get some laundry going and see if this still happens.

Water sitting in my LG 2650 washer's liquid detergent cup

I've had an LG WM2650HWA washer for three years now. Over the past few months, I've noticed that half the time, I find a lot of water sitting in the liquid detergent cup once a cycle is complete. Any ideas on why this is happening? If so, what should I do? Below is a pic of what happened...

    Bath/entry mat washing problem

It was my only choice Unfortunately, as a result of this, my dryer now has a bad smell to it. How do I get it out? In addition, a few months ago, the bath mat in my bathroom started gluing itself to the floor, and I spent several minutes on my hands and knees scraping the residue off.

    Bath/entry mat washing problem

One more thing Here are some pics of what happened after the mats were done drying. Some rubber dropped onto the floor, and the lint filter had lots of rubber flakes on it. Yes, my washer does have a tub clean cycle, so I'm running that right now for that very reason.

    Bath/entry mat washing problem

Alright So I grabbed my Ridgid shop vacuum and used it to clean up the mess in the washer. I got most of the flakes, but there was quite a bit still in there. I then got towels and proceeded to clean the drain filter. There was some rubber on it, not to mention mold/mildew buildup. I rinsed...

    Bath/entry mat washing problem

OK... I always dry the mats on low heat. But some mats start to disintegrate naturally, usually from being on a floor for too long. I guess it happens due to mold and mildew from the bathroom. I am uploading two more pics, showing what the washer looked like after the wash. How am I going to...
