    Can't beat Mini-splits for heating/cooling

Some years ago, I remember a member in the north discovering that the reason his mini split system was performing poorly was because the air filter was allowing too much dust to get past it and clog up the fins. I noticed this with new window units so I always augment the thin flat "filter" with...

KitchenAid KUDM220t1 is this made by Hobart?

One way of getting around the one after rinse situation with these machines is to augment the one quart purge after the main wash. I would fill a one gallon bowl with scalding water which I would add to the machine after the one quart fill for the purge was complete. I would then open the door...

Looking for a part for a unimatic washer

Thank you, Steve for the link with the name. SFH074. I have written it on a 3X5 card and put it inside the machine with the installation instructions from Bud. You belong in the Hero category with Bud and Robert and others.

I sent the old one to him because he needs the metal mounting plate for the new one. Maybe someone knows or remembers his profile name. We need a classification as HEROES of members...

I suspect that the butter colored parts are signs of oxidized paint. Note that the white porcelain tub is still while.

    O'Keefe & Merritt Sighting?

Exciting picture The left side is some sort of room heater, a necessity in some older homes that originally had solid fuel ranges in northern climates. This might be a vented gas space heater or it might be a solid fuel heater.

    Lady K dryer

    That's a lot of years for $100.

    Meet the HORTONS!

Robert, Thanks. I did not know that the lid could be opened during the cycle. Wasn't the Launderall lid locked during the cycle? And the Hortons were not?

    Meet the HORTONS!

Robert, you mentioned adding softener to the last rinse. Do you pour it in through one of the little vents in the lid? Thanks.

A wooden washer; no, not a wooden rub board, a wooden look control panel. 80s, right?
