Kenmores from that time onward had the labels 'RINSE & SPIN' in Normal (later Cotton/Sturdy), and 'SPIN ONLY' in Permanent Press. This washer has them vice-versa.

Around the start of the 60s, single-speed washers started having a SHORT cycle for delicates, alongside a NORMAL one. Starting c.1980, single-speeders had a PERMANENT PRESS I, while two-speeders had later had PERMANENT PRESS II.

Cycle order (Super) Normal, Knit, Gentle, (Super) Permanent Press. This one has both Super cycles.
