Whirlpool! My sister had the same exact washer. It worked for 16 years without a problem and was still working when she let it go. It was a real work horse. She wanted to update to a FL and bought a frigmore set at the time. I hope you can get it fixed. Peter

Hotpoint! I preferred the rim flo myself - we had the TOL 1977 model with the rear open lid and hand wash adjator - it was a great washer. I always felt the GE filter pan and mini basket only got in the way! The hand wash adjator was a better choice in my opinion along with the rim flo!

Whirlpool! All cycles will delay for thermal hold if you select Hi-Temp wash option. The main wash and final rinse will than heat up to 145 degrees!

GE These are beautiful dishwashers! I always liked the GE the best for top loader machines.
