Even At Low Water Levels... The clothing is submerged in the water. The recirculating pump would be worthless. I don't think we have seen enough of the washing action to condemn the brand and the rush to judgement is irrational. Malcolm

My Take-Away... In the current 2017 model, the wash action is at the bottom of the tub and clothing needs to circulate there to receive the surge of water. In the new machine, the cleaning action is all throughout the tub. The water will surge over, around, and through the clothes when the...

All Things Considered... It certainly did outperform the whirlpool they put it up against. And I do think a top loader that operates at 43 decibels is huge. I just wonder how the cycles have changed from what we are accustomed to from speed queen. Malcolm

Tub Leaning... Did anyone else perk up when the teach spoke about tub leaning during agitation? Usually caused by a broken or fractured snubbed ring. Resulting from damage during shipping or delivery. Interesting... Malcolm

Standpipe Could be as simple as the standpipe is too high and or the drain hose kinked. Malcolm

No water level control = Fail Seems rather dumb to me. Forcing a full tub fill for all cycles except the tree hugger Normal. I expect the normal cycle prevents hot water too. Styling it to mimic the look of the coin op is kind of funny... Why are they so out of touch with what the consumer...

Lint Problems Linting issues can be exaggerated by under dosing detergents. Make sure you are using enough. Additionally, over rinsing can contribute too. Malcolm

Agitator The agitator kind of looks like a nod back to the "Marathon" machines, IMO. As for the performance, a wide agitation arc of 2.5 times around is pretty good, but how many strokes per minute is that? Malcolm

Lid Lock! I think the Lid Lock is a great throw-back to their roots. Most all of the solid tub models had them... Malcolm

Control Panel The dark control panel reminds me of the Magic Chef machines of the 80's. Very retro styled. Now, offer multiple cabinet colors.... Malcolm
