Well, reading this thread this week got me inspired to take apart my Kenmore HE3 Dryer and vaccum it out and clean it. Sears Ultra Plus--the orange box

Well I did go to my local "Sears Essentials" yesterday and they had it on the shelves. I took it to one of the "find a price" scanners and it came up as on sale $14.99. I do know that when they discontinue something it will always end in $.88 so it just must be a website issue

Cold Water Washing: The Debate Goes On

Well I will say this Last year when My mother was here for a visit, (she is a retired LPN)was in my laundry room when I was putting a load into wash. She said "Now why are you wasting all that hot water?" (I was washing some sheets and light colored T-shirts). She continued with "you can get...

Cold Water Washing: The Debate Goes On

I have to admit, I'm one of those people who thinks washing in cold water just doesn't cut for everyday laundry. I do have nicer "dress" clothes that I do wash in cold water, and living in florida, cold water is never really "cold". However, I did read through all the comments that were...

    Sears Ultra Plus--the orange box

I looked at the sears site last weekend and this weekend and noticed that they no longer have the Ultra Plus (orange box) on the website. Just makes me wonder if this is now discontinued or what? Will have to go to my local "Sears Essentials" today to see if they still have it and if it's on...

    Can anyone tell me....

Bob: I forgot to mention that your cycle description was perfect. You are one great man. I am willing to bet though, that If you listen closely to your cycle, that when Circulation starts on prewash, main wash, and final rinse, you will still hear it filling for another 30 sec.

Thanks Bob,, So the Normal wash cycle is very similer. Prewash, wash, purge/rinse, Final rinse. Fill times may have changed, and lenght of wash due to soil level, but for the most apart pretty much the same. You are so wonderful and such a wealth of knowledge. Thanks again

When In Highschool I dated this girl (yes, trying to convince everyone I was straight) and Her mother had this type of kitchenaid in her kitchen. However, the difference was is that the start switch was directly over the "freezer handle" that locked the door instead of being on the side as...

OK, Yogi: Went to home depot and got some regular rubber hoses. I don't that that was the problem. I am washing a king size, summer weight quilt right now. Need some help from you guys...

I have the steel braided safety shut off hoses. There are no real screens at either end. The laundry room (pictured above) was completed in was built in 10/2006 and that's when I got the new inlet hoses for the washer. My first thought was to take the screens off the inlet ports on the washer...

So my next thought was that maybe just the screens were clogged on the inlet ports. Nope, they look pretty clean. So Any help would be so greatly welcomed.
