I wouldn't object to a "lights" version with oxygen bleach and some of the more innocuous OBs (if such exist) as long as there was also a "darks" version that had neither. Think Persil Megaperls - they have both Color and Universal (lights) versions.

I had that same model dishwasher (I believe) back in the late 1990s. I'm not sure how long GE made them but it could be a lot more than "3-4 years old".
