New hotpoint S line washing machine

Mike Hiya Mike I'm on wash load number ten since Monday lol. So yup it's going through its paces. It does have a spin only cycle which takes ten minutes. It's not as fussy as I thought. It'll spend about a minute trying to balance if it's a small load but it's always done the full 1400 spin...

New hotpoint S line washing machine

Duvet washi Yup every week lol. I shampoo the bedroom carpets every month. Vacuum three times a day. The dreaded ocd doesn't let you rest. I wash my mattress every few months and you'll be surprised what comes out of it. Vacuum it every week as well. I worked out earlier on I'm on my 26th...

New hotpoint S line washing machine

Cotton cycle Hiya. Normal cotton cycle is 3hr 20 minutes which will never be used. As for my beko it used loads of water to rinse but still always seemed to have soap in the water. To be honest I really miss the machine. Could do I 60 degree wash with 1400 spin in 61 minutes. It was the 7kg...

New hotpoint S line washing machine

It's got a 1400 spin which is great. Ten minutes but to do one rinse and spin is 49 minutes. As much as I loved my beko the only downside with the beko was rinsing. It never seemed to rinse all the soap out regardless of how little powder I put in. The hotpoint rinses really well.

New hotpoint S line washing machine

Hi. I was a bit shocked at the wash times but there is a time saver button and there are a few wash programmes that'll be used a lot. The steam is a bit of a let down. It just drops water into the bottom of the machine enough to cover the element and that's how the steam works. It's got a pump...

New hotpoint S line washing machine

Oh no. I'm hoping it's not gonna be too fussy with the spin cycle. That's the only thing with the direct drive. I had an LG washer years ago that was a 1400 spin and I think it only ever reached full speed twice in that time. As for the ten year warranty it'll be changed before then lol. I get...

New hotpoint S line washing machine

Second pic I thought I would give hotpoint a second chance seeing as they are now doing a ten year warranty on their newer machines. Pics of my machine will follow on Tuesday and will try and upload a video of the wash action and the steam functions

New hotpoint S line washing machine

Hi guys. Not posted in a while. I've got the following machine being delivered on Tuesday morning. I've had my beko for three years now and feel it's time for a change. I do have to say the beko has been faultless and it's never missed a beat and it's going to a good home. My brothers which...

Mike What a totally amazing space. The blue works well in the room with all the machines. That would be my dream come true.

    My Old Washing Machine WIE107

You have done well to get seven years from your machine. My brother has an Indesit but he's single and it gets very light use. Personally I would replace the whole machine as other things may be on the way out as well.

Could this be why my Bosch washer is playing up?

I'm an electrician by trade and my advice is never to run a washer or a dryer using an extension lead. The reason being is most extension cables are rated 10- 13 amp use and that's for temporary use not something that will generally draw 2kw power every time it's used as the flex will not be...

the worst washing machine and tumble dryer you have owned

Worst washer I ever owned was an Indesit w123. After 12 months the times would just constantly advance then the motor died and it took ages to do a wash load. Worst dryer was a servis electronic with the digital display. Took ages to dry and sometimes to get it to go you would have to lift the...

    Spin Speeds

I bought a creda spin dryer a few months back that spins at 2800rpm as my beko washing machine only spins at 1400rpm and it doesn't remove anymore water than the washing machine does.

Hotpoint 15790 Super De Luxe Top Loader

I used to have the same machine many moons ago. I loved it. Would really like to get another but I'm on a dreaded water meter and I'm already using the same amount of water that a two person house hold uses. Good luck with the machine and look forward to see its progress

    My New Beko ECO WMB81445LW

Aquarius1984 I use the daily wash a lot as you can go right up to 90 degrees on that and it doesn't take forever. As for the quick wash 40degree it washes for about 19 minutes and does a good job. Without testing the water temp on that wash the door does get quite warm so I would say it was...

    My New Beko ECO WMB81445LW

I love my beko. 3 years on and still going strong. It's really had a lot of use in them 3 years as well. I got the beko dishwasher to match to replace my hotpoint one and it's the biggest regret ever. Really bad at cleaning and I've tried every tablet and powder there is and nothing works...

    Hoover spinarinse

Hi. I've got one of the last ones made and mine is noisy as anything rattles away etc. One thing I've noticed to dampen the noise is to push everything down in the spin chamber nice and tight and it's a little less noisy. I love mine. Kitchen looks like I've flooded it when I've finished though lol
