    popper lid and i meant "popcorn" popper ;) ...nothing else. Why don't you try a lid from a can of coffee or canned nuts or something similar? Looks like the size would be about right...might want to put a few holes in the lid to let the steam out...

    stuck soap the water flow to the soap dispenser was probably blocked by a tall piece in the machine. if this happens only once in a while, IMHO, the water flow is the problem, since the cover of the dispenser is opening.

    yes, it did shake the house We had the ElectricSink version of the one in the commercial in a related link. It DID shake the house. Steam billowed out the vent ridges on top of the door during the entire cycle. Gravity drain connected to a "Y" in the basement that also drained the kitchen sink...

    lazy susan door the reason this is called a "lazy susan" door is that when opened, the broiler swung out, too. it was attached with a hook and eye type "thingy" that caused the broiler pan to swing out as the door opened...

    two ovens? no, this stove didn't have two ovens. the space on the left, with the lazy susan door was a wonderful broiler. i have never seen a stove with a better broiler...broiled things to perfection,with no smoke ever. we had this stove from about 1960 until 1966. my parents bought it used...
