    odd indesit...................

That door seal is a right old mess, one of the worst I've seen. Constant low temperature washing and/or poor quality detergent there I think. I think these were the last to have a proper mechanical timer rather than one of those hybrid jobs, which is why they are reasonably long lasting. Tom.

    Who owns who???

BSH - 'Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH' or 'Bosch and Siemens Household Appliances' in English. Tom

    Built to last alright....:)

It's a Z9181. But it's more like 25 years old than 20. I think they stopped making them in 1986 or 1987. Tom.

indesit is in the s**t next week

Yes it's amazing how many people don't carry out simple day to day cleaning and maintenance on their machines. I've seen so many moldy door seals in recent years, mainly on ebay examples. The Indesit Moon design certainly doesn't help this, and as Liam says Indesit shouldn't have claimed the...

where could I get hold of...

Yeah like I say, there are two bearings, I'm just not sure which is the second because there are multiple parts listed for the same model. It's important you replace the bearing seal because the reason the bearings fail in the first place is because the seal has gone. The seal is the only part...

where could I get hold of...

There should be a second bearing but I can't tell which one it is, although if you got the old one out you should be able to buy a generic one to match. Tom

    Bendix 7133 Autowasher Deluxe Electronic

Timer Diagram Hi Rob, I thought you might like the timer diagram for the 7133. I read earlier in the thread that you were curious about the timings of the programmes. Hope it is of some help to you. I can also track down the exploded parts diagrams if you would like them. See the link below...

Hotpoint Aquarius WM64 won't spin unless power cycled

Hi Danny, It's a hybrid timer on this machine. That means it's part mechanical/part electronic. The electronics activate the timer motor once a particular process is finished. Looks like this process isn't finishing. There are no fault codes or flashing lights on this one. It might be worth...

    Bush Washers

Chinese Zanussi You best look out for the Zanussi ZWG1140M then because it is made in China by a company called Little Swan. Let's hope they don't all go this way.

Russell Hobbs Just had a look and I think these are Haier as well.

    Bush Washers

Bush Yep they are Haier machines. Cheap Chinese rubbish. You'd be better off with an Indesit than one of these. Tom.
