Miele Front Loader Removes Deodorant Stains on Dress Shirts

I have had great success removing these types of stains (and ANY stain) using Biz following the instructions for pre-treating stains. Works like a charm in my $250 Admirpool.

Something I have never seen before

always scared me! Whenever I saw jars of the stuff on the supermarket shelves it always scared me and I never got up the nerve to buy some and try it. On impulse, I did pick up some matzo ball soup mix this week at Giant. I'll give it a try. :-)

    Whirlpool Gold BOBLOAD!

I'm with Jetcone I've had the silverware in the door before, and don't like it. I had one, and my mothers current WP has it. I prefer it in the bottom rack because then you can just take a pile or sink full of dishes and start loading the machine up easily without having to move the bottom rack...

    Rare GE Americana Fridge

good idea, limited application Never have seen this fridge before now, but years ago I was wishing for something like it. I did a draft of a kitchen remodel for a friends impossibly small condo, and I thought a divided fridge like this, that preserved counter space, would have been a solution...

Ultrawash noise, pump starting to go?

toploader55 Its only intermittent, during the spray cycle. I've run two loads since I first heard it, and it didn't do it- so maybe it's just a fluke?

Ultrawash noise, pump starting to go?

(I thought I posted this last night but I can't find the post) My Ultrawash was making an intermittent squeeling kind of noise last night when I was running it. I kept looking outside because I thought it was a car's power steering belt somewhere. Does this mean the pump bearing is failing? I...

    Ultrawash part help

Got the part I ordered the part in the 3rd post from the top. Installed in literally one minute and works great. The cone-shaped receptacle fits much better against the water outlet at the back of the tub. Crossing fingers that I can get a few more good years of use out of my UltraWash! I'm...

Had to Post this CL Ad.

some people have no common sense and just aren't interested in putting forth much effort. It baffles me, especially since CL is free, so there is no need to be skimpy with words or pictures.

    Ultrawash part help

actually I can't cross-check the part/model #'s, but I'm 98% sure this is what I need. http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Center-Wash-Arm-Assembly/675808/679719#repairHelpVideoTabs It appears that the tube has been redesigned so that it is one piece, whereas mine is 3 pieces.

    RIP, Eastman Kodak cameras.

film vs. cameras I always used Kodak film and thought it was superb. (Fuji never rendered blues/greens very well IMO). On the other hand, the cameras weren't that great. Just vehicles for selling more film. An exception may be the mid-60's Instamatic 500, a rather expensive German-made camera...

    high miles vehicles...

saw a quote recently "200,000 miles is the new 100,000 miles". True. Most cars with reasonable mainenance easily make that mark these days. I have 128k on mine and no intention of buying anytime soon.

whirlpool dryer repair and part resource

clarification Best way to describe would be the button is stuck in the "pushed" position. If the timer is set and the door is closed, the dryer will run until you either turn the timer selection to "off" or open the door. Thanks.

whirlpool dryer repair and part resource

My mom's dryer, Whirlpool LHE5700W1, serial M04618217 has a "start" button that has gone bad. I have never done appliance repair, but this seems an easy enough fix. If you can recommend a good online parts resource I'd appreciate it, as well as any links to manuals or anything. I don't think...
