    Any sewists?

Think I'm hooked. Made curtain panels with a matching valance for the door. Kitchen may be next!

    Any sewists?

To wash or not that is the question... There seems to be two schools of thought about prewashing fabric before cutting and sewing. I'm going to be using a cotton print to make some curtains. One side says ALWAYS prewash the other says no unless it's for clothing. Can anyone share some wisdom...

    It’s too tight !

twintub, I feel your pain! Night before leaving on vaca Sears delivers a KM one piece laundry unit and hooks up the water backward. I managed to get it out of the closet but it wouldn't go all the way back in. I tried everything to no use. Finally got pissed and hit it with a full shoulder body...

    Any sewists?

jkbff, thanks for the advice. I'm still at the stage of awe that you push a pedal and a thing goes up and down and makes a stitch!

    Any sewists?

I'm getting real itchy to buy a sewing machine. For someone who has zero experience would it make more sense to buy a $30.00 toy or go for $100.00 'beginner' to see if I would like to learn to sew?

Did most ovens have a vent?

Having decided that 'all' ovens have a vent, why do you have to open the door when broiling in an electric oven?

Meet the "New" Whirlpool SKU-70-0 dishwasher!

Paul, when you get a chance will you show how the dial works? I'm not clear on how the 'finger stop' works with the cycle selections. Thanks.

Original Duomatic On Season 1, Episode 23 of Hazel

Think I saw TOL (push button) Tags in the kitchen of the Steve (wimp) Baxter household. They sit opposite the refer behind a knee wall. Dryer is on the left.

    Gyrafoam...Back down memory lane:

It would be interesting if we could find out if any of us met the others at the clubs back in the day. I lived at Post Landing apts in the 70's and found out that there are 6 people here in the tiny ass town in mid GA. that were there at the same time, small world.

very Strange problem GE model gtw485asj0ws

Super may be on to something. Maybe you have a leaking fill valve and the washer is going into pump mode as it detects the water. (Now that is a genuine WAG)

    Air Fryers

Kevin, that be the one! I noticed on QVC that there is a new even bigger one out now.

    Air Fryers

Kevin, neither. Mine is a POWER XL. It came with rotiss, basket, skewers, six shelves has a light and some other stuff. Works well. Haven't tried to dehydrate anything yet. My Nieces make jerky regularly in theirs. (they gave me mine). It comes with 3 different cook books. It will take frozen...

    Sometimes its the customer

I particularly like negative reviews that complain that the package was hard to open, color didn't match, etc.
