I don't see this color often.

Is it bad for a front load washer to be run on these less that solid bases?

I have always wondered.. If there is a leak, doesn't all the coolant leak out? Leaks don't usually plug themselves. Are there other ways you get low coolant levels?

I just fixed a GE today It had a half frost pattern, which was caused by a bad relay. The relay kicked the compressor over, but not at full speed, or reliably, causing the half frost pattern. Replaced the relay and it worked fine.

Could be a blockage in the coolant line. I have had some success working them through on old machines. Turn them on and off. If it wouldn't dislodge a compressor job is needed. If the defrost is on, just disconnect the heater, which will help you diagnose what is happening.

I was able to fix the flair, he has plenty of spare parts. He actually got that face plate for his Flair from Electrolux? or whoever owns the rights to the part. He paid $600 for 2. He had been on AW but is not a member (yet). The fridge does have 2 evaporators, and hopefully the squealing...

Actually 2 GMFR fridges. The bottom freezer in the picture makes a squealing noise for a few minutes every once in awhile. I did not hear it.

He has 5 Flairs, including a matching coppertone stove/fridge, a matching pink GMFR fridge and stove, an avocado 1-18 set, Leonard stove and freezer and more. I am going back, more pictures to follow. It was wild walking into all this.

What kind of frost pattern is on the coils? Any areas more frosty that others? Is there a point where the cooling stops?

I have r12.

Does this have two evaporator coils? Some of these Frigidaires get complicated.

It appears to be original, I have never seen one this color. I love the turquoise/gold interior. The usual is pink/silver. The only odd thing is no butter conditioner...
