Those cycles you see there are merely the washer going into what should be neutral drain then the pause before the actual spin is what normally happens. There are no electronics involved for the neutral drain and then going into spin. In fact, while it is neutral draining if you were to stop...

That would be a failed neutral pak in your transmission. The timer does not decide whether or not it neutral drains, it just controls the direction of the motor when it it calling for agitation or drain/spin.

People in my youtube videos, as well as some in-person have asked me why I like machinery/appliances. But I can't say they have ever asked if I was gay.

Now that to me almost sounds like a lid switch problem. On newer DD washers, it will not spin nor agitate if it is not engaged, it will fill though.

You know, I was reading that again, and now to me it sounds like maybe it is spray rinsing and he's not familiar with it? That sounds pretty stupid I know, but I cant really think of anything else.

I have never had a problem with etched glassware. Probably the only thing that I have done that doesn't go with the above article is I use heated drying and the incoming water temperature is 120. But this dishwasher is from 2002 so I have no idea if it heats it any further (Normal Wash cycle)

Did these older SQ washers ever have the manual fabric selector?

Awesome machines there. That is one of the things I like about some of the Kenmores is that those models let you manually select your speed.

No differences here. Between the most neutral drain machines I have used (WP/KM), and the most spin drain machines I have used (MT & SQ) I always have the same results, nice and clean with nothing left on it.

I have found that those air bubbles seem to happen more if you rinse in warm water. I'm guessing that's because of the warm air trying to rise?

It really is too bad that the filter cant completely stop lint from getting past it.

1989 GE Potscrubber. Still miss that bad boy. I cannot remember the exact number, but it was the one with the black control panel and the silver colored buttons and the silver colored timer dial you manually turn yourself.

There is a commercial dish machine not too far from us that I certainly want to make a video of (gotta get permission first), I think it is Hobart, but I cannot for the life of me find any brand name on it.

Is that lower panel a vent, or are those just ripples on it or something?
