Bendix automatic Home Washer MODEL D (511) I tried the cold valve but this one is completely closed and nothing flowed. The signs of very hard water is present in both valves and the two original hoses. So this is the next step, strip down the valves and clean out the scale.

Hot valve, I’m assuming the smaller water outlet into the float switch tube is to wash out any soap and suds.
