New Production Vintage Incandescent Light Bulbs

Often these bulbs don't like dimming They also only dim down to about 10% with a grayish cast to the light. I don't understand how people can live with their kitchens and bedrooms lit up like an operating room.

New Production Vintage Incandescent Light Bulbs

all the ugly color deviations of LEDs. Driving around my area at night I'd say half the homes and most apartments are running cold blue LED lights indoors. Not to mention the homes lit up like a night game at Yankee stadium from dusk to dawn.

    1970s (?) Tappan Gas Range - thoughts?

they started at $500 and dropped to $300 I doubt they're going to get $300. Make an offer and see what happens. Usually works better if you're there in person and ready haul it away.

Facebook will not let me in

I would lose my shit if that happened! Yeah, I 'm still in state of disbelief. Then I went to to use the e-mail account through my cable provider Optimum that I've also had for 20 years and find out they deleted it because I hadn't used it in a year or so and they don't offer new email...

Facebook will not let me in

Yahoo permanently locked me out of my e-mail account that I've had for over 20 years. Not because I forgot my password or anything. I hadn't signed for about a month and suddenly couldn't get into my account and my recovery email address was no longer accessible. 20+ years of email archives gone.

    Favorite Bed Sheets?

My trusty 45-year-old Maytag A608 has a new leak!

kit is slightly different- Those are for the later 12 series, it won't work on your washer. Might want to ask if anyone has a used tub injector hose they are willing to part with.

My trusty 45-year-old Maytag A608 has a new leak!

Ideally you need an injector kit similar to the one in the link but they are NLA or crazy expensive for that model. Try to carefully salvage the tub injector hose if possible and replace the air valve and other hose...

My trusty 45-year-old Maytag A608 has a new leak!

I can't see much behind the tub Remove the two screws at the front corners and the top cover lifts up like a car hood. Note: tape down the lid so it doesn't slam into the console.

    GE Heavy Duty dryer repair

would I need to take the drum off? Probably, thats how its done on the standard size GE dryers to remove the drum bearing. Not a big deal once you have it apart. Slides and the nylon drum can be replaced, both are common wear items. If a slide goes metal on metal it can damage the drum...
