    New Lenor 'Parfum Des Secrets'

Surely not a ploy by P+G to make us use more? Would they ever do such a thing? ;-D Haha I know, most people would be content with looking/sniffing, I’m stood there blooming squeezing things. I also do it on the rare occasions I buy the unstoppables too (just in case you don’t know you squeeze...

    New Lenor 'Parfum Des Secrets'

Dosing ball Although I didn’t get any of the new P&G liquid (courtesy of my wife! :)) I did have a quick feel of the dosing ball, yes, definitely thinner.

    New Lenor 'Parfum Des Secrets'

Agree, I actually find Tesco dearer than Sainsbury’s, but I shop at Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrison’s so get the best offers from all. Sorry should have mentioned, I got the Lenor at Wilko, for £4. It was down from £8. So looks like normal price is going to be £8. Can’t see it lasting long at...

Getting Dawn Dish soap out of rug---

Would recommend Using these guys. They have a patented system, it looks so cool. Would recommend sparing the 9mins for the video and a coffee. Shows it for an oriental rug, but will work with any. This will properly flush out all soap.

Call me obsessed if you must . . .

My... Grandmother had all that cookware, I vividly remember all the glass pans on the cooker.

    New Lenor 'Parfum Des Secrets'

I got... Some of the “Mystery” Parfum des secrets. I smelt all 4, there were none I hated, possibly “Blush” would be my least favourite, but none of them smell all that strong at all in the bottle, in fact some of the normal ones smell stronger. Also as mentioned upthread, yes the liquids...

    New Lenor 'Parfum Des Secrets'

Yes, it’s all in the marketing, silly claims with even sillier names. Don’t think there is going to be anything major with the 3in1 pod updates, Bold is running the new ad campaign now with a theme of take me home “scents that take you home”. Thinking the only thing have they have probably...

    New Lenor 'Parfum Des Secrets'

Something else I just remembered, when I spotted it 2 months back it was called Lenor “Parfumedes”, wonder why they changed the name. Somebody’s going to come along and say Parfemedes is Parfume de Secrets in a different lingo and make me look silly aren’t they :p

    SAMSUNG WASHING MACHINE SPIDER CORROSION

I have had 2 Samsung washers (UK versions), and I have never been that impressed. The TOL one I got 12kg load (pretty much the top capacity you could get here at the time), could screen version went from brand new to dead in 7 months (motor fault). The one I have now (different model), again...

    New Lenor 'Parfum Des Secrets'

Yep there’s definitely a few new products coming up. Saw these Lenor a few months back, but they were at £8, so couldn’t justify that with the amount of conditioners I had. Now running low, so may grab some. As mentioned, Persil have launched a pod like Ariel’s called Powercaps I think. I did...

    Are Tide Laundry Pods Edible?

Why Tide Pods? Why not Gain? Why not Persil? Going to assume it’s because of the recognizability of the Tide brand. Tide is practically an American institution. Would imagine everyone on the NA continent knows what Tide is. Even though here in the U.K. we lost Tide back in 1972, would say...

Ab Fab - How UK and The World Has Changed Since 1990's

I certainly... Didn’t know she was vocally trained at all, let alone clasically trained. Thanks for that. I’ve never seen the woman of no importance, so will definitely take a look.

Ab Fab - How UK and The World Has Changed Since 1990's

I sure... Wish KUP ran for longer than it did, however, if internet sources prove correct, it was actually Patricia Routledge herself who called time on the series as she didn’t want to be typecast as Hyacinth. Although she was great in Hetty Wainthrop in Hetty Wainthrop investigates. She will...

Ab Fab - How UK and The World Has Changed Since 1990's

Windsor’s No not watched it yet, it was heavily advertised by ITV, I’m sure I’ll catch it either on ITV catchup/Netflix at some point.

Ab Fab - How UK and The World Has Changed Since 1990's

Going back, No sometimes you just can’t. I suppose it’s a case of its right for the time, for the right reasons. It’s not a terrible movie, and I would definitely watch it again (in fact I think I have seen it twice since release). Yes agree, 90s did seem like a continuity of the 80s for a...

Ab Fab - How UK and The World Has Changed Since 1990's

Have you seen... The Ab Fab movie? Granted it is not the strongest movie (I suspect this is down to Jennifer Saunders admitted “rush” to write the movie before time/age moved them on to where it would have been really unviable). However, I believe you would find it most interesting for...

    Real vs Artificial Christmas trees

Grew up For nearly all of my childhood with real trees, Dad insisted on it and it was a family event to go and get the tee. Love the smell and that is the true scent of Christmas for me. In later years and as us kids grew up, a switch to artificial an tree was made. I missed the smell, but I...

An offer not to be missed

An elderly couple looking to sell off some appliances over half a century old. If anyone is interested. http://https//www.thetimes.co.uk/article/built-to-last-1950s-appliances-are-off-to-a-new-home-sts28l388

Samsung Eco Bubble machines UK models

Yes They do distribution tumbles. Would relate reliability as relatively poor; I previously had the 12kg model and that completely died after 7 months (E3 motor fault). Now have a 9kg model and whilst it has worked for the 18 months I have had it, there is a few niggles.
