    Slower heating = lower consumption?

Hi guys I have a technical question for you, kind of theory I would like to discuss. True or false? In older days the energyconsumption of a heatingelement in a washer was high, also the amount of water that needed to be heaten was quit big. conclusion: the higher the waterlevel, the more...

    Xeros "waterless" washing machine

Guess in terms of hygiene there are several ways to achieve it. It's not a complete waterless system. Clothes still get saturated and the beads only replace the detergent. It saves water by reducing the need for rinsing (although i'm not really convinced about a no rinse wash, more like a one...

    New machines and goodbye indesit

    Made by crosslee... Panasonic Dryer

I would still prefer the Panasonic over the Bosch of Siemens. Although the Panasonic does not have the selfcleaningcondensor, it has the fluff filter in the door. Way easier to clean in my opinion. Is there anyone going to IFA? Otherwise pictures would be nice ;)

    Panasonic Dryer

Why does that dryer looks like a mix between the BEKO/BLOMBERG design and a BSH machine? If you look closely to the panasonic washers it's almost certain they are BSH design (maybe even build?) Something I don't really get is the fact that they claim to have a dual temperature mode. Or they can...

    W961wps, waterlevelsaga continous....

Hi guys My Miele GOLD2000, is 12years old and is suffering from a little illness. Two years ago the waterlevelswitch in the motherboard was acting up. It never measured the level correctly. Virtually no water at low level, low level at med, med at high. The miele guy changed the controlboard...

Will it tangle? Bosch dryer video

Why did they got rid of the ability to change directions? I think the only way to prevent tangling is to turn the drum in both way evenly as a washer does. Any thoughts about that?

    English Electric Liberator (pair)

Can someone point my out how the soap 'port'hole works? I still figured out how it could come handy? My granny had a Englisch Electric dryer with a vent at the front, rather strange dryer but good and fast!

    Easter Bobloads

Cuttlery This was the reason why the Miele entered the house! That cuttleryrack. It takes longer to load, but every piece is cleaned and it's way easier to unload it!

    Easter Bobloads

Upper rack No wineglasses they are done by hand. My mother clicked that yellow deodorizingthing on the basket once, it should be removed as it's empty and never return again! The rack on the left is folded down, same arrangement under it.

    Easter Bobloads

Lower rack The good china is the ones with the blue ribbon. Beneath the 'upper'bowl are 8 saucers. Beneath the 'lower' bowl there was a small mixing bowl. All blue ribboned china is 29 years old.

    Easter Bobloads

Mine is acctually a pre-easter bobload. The in-laws came over tonight. We had dinner and as a result of that a full load in the dishwasher. This is what came out of the G641 SC plus. It ran the Spaar-progam. 1 wash at 45°C, 1 cold rinse, 1 rinse at 65°. This program is still on the Miele under...

    Bosch WOK2001 toploader

Bosch toploader! These machines are fascinating! The frontpanel, 3 washpaddles and easy to load drum and dispenser. If I ever had to buy a toploader this would be a choice. This or a Miele.

@yogitunes; haha no doubt this is a fantastic machine, people just did not use it correctly I guess! Would it be possible to upload those instructionvideo's maybe on a sort of private youtube/whatever account! Seems that we still could learn a lot more. @qualin; I was also fascinated with the...
