Bauknecht vented dryer! When drying a full load (11 lbs) spun at 1100 rpm, it takes 90 min. Same load spun at 1400 rpm takes about 60 min.

Finally I see the washer performing at a 'normal' level ;) and I must say that I'm impressed about it's performance! If it was available over here I would consider it. The huge capacity, the efficient washprocedure... Are they good? I didn't read any reviews yet. Who has some experience to share?

If you are concerned about the safety... Maybe you can raise the front and sides with a few inches so the machines are 'inside' the top of the pedestals. Any DIY overhere who build pedestals are even putted a concrete platform raide the sides a bit or tiled the sides a few inches above the top!
