    Early HOH Door Gaskets

Universal seal material; modified seal from another applianc Perhaps something from a supplier McMaster Carr might work (see link). Someone also suggested modifying a pressure cooker gasket and perhaps a front load washer gasket could be cut down. http://www.mcmaster.com/#seals/=m62har

GM Frigidaire range: Mfr date from model and serial numbers?

Greetings! Does anyone know if a GM Frigidaire range can be dated accurately (month/year) based on the model and serial number? I am trying to find out how old a Custom Imperial double oven/range with the following information is: Model: RCIE-639VN Serial: 64C48737 I am guessing 1965 - 68...

    1960 Maytag Dryer

Door gasket If the pressure cooker gasket idea doesn't work, maybe another source would be to find a door gasket from a front load washer with roughly the same diameter opening and cut it down to fit - or maybe a gasket from another dryer (maybe even a commercial dryer) and modify it to fit...

    Early Kenmore compact dryer

This looks like an early Kenmore compact dryer. I don't think I have ever seen one like this. I'd love to see the washer that went with it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Used-Vintage-Antique-Retro-Kitsch-Dryer-/330866644691?pt=US_Dryers&hash=item4d093056d3
