Interior. Original Surgilator cap, but a replacement straight-vane agitator. It appears this washer is late enough to have the splined agitator shaft vs. the hex drive.

    PINK whirlpool washer and dryer

Here are the pictures posted on the MySpace page, and since probably not everyone is signed up there I figured I would post them here. First up, the washer timer detail:

    PINK whirlpool washer and dryer

That's not a Roto-Flex but a straight-vane. A Roto-Flex does not have a ribbed column like this one. I want one of these in the worst way. At the Convention (nearly) 2 years ago, there were a couple of Roto-Flexes up for grabs in the agitator garden...but I didn't know at the time they were...

Interesting machines, and definitely well-maintained! The washer is a 3-speed with the Super Wash option; the original Surgilator appears to have been replaced at some point with a harvest-gold straight-vane.

    Vintage Washing Machine

Well I do know who it is, but I was trying to avoid *that* insinuation ;-) Most likely this washer will be stored with the rest of the vacuums in the storage silos, never to see the light of day again. At least it's saved though.

    Vintage Washing Machine

Someone from the vacuum club won it. I wonder if they'll post about it here?

    Meet the kids!

More beautiful kitties! How are they adjusting to their new home? I see they've warmed up to the Frankenmore already :)

Heads Up! Norge Washing Machine in Fla

And it's... Sold to someone who will probably overload it to death. Damn. But this machine may have "oily clothes syndrome", who knows?

    Nick Watches The Frigidaire

Very cute, especially his "paw curl" gesture...to me, those black & white cats have much different personalities than others! We've had 3 of them over here (2 of which have passed on, one is still around) and all of them were eccentric in one way or another.

    It's green season!

    Oh, but you should...;-)

Vintage Red-brown? maytag set on Portland craigslist

That all depends on the model series. Maybe it's just me, but from the picture it doesn't look like an A806. Still very beautiful though.

    Moved! Finally!

Scott, congratulations, your new house looks fantastic, especially the kitchen. I love those Thermadors; we saw a similar stove and refrigerator at our trip to the Great Indoors last year. The Classic Omega is a nice surprise as well. I bet with a little Mother's polish and some elbow grease...

Pict and videos of my colection.

Great videos Rodrigo, especially that Lavinia Westinghouse. Very cool lint-bag setup it has, versus the traditional rear-mounted plastic lint filter we had over here. I like that white Roto-Flex as well...we never had those over here either!

    Kenmore History

There was no Penta-Flex agitator The two 5-vane belt-drive agitators that Kenmore put out were the Penta-Vane and Penta-Swirl. I'm not sure of the exact year, but they were introduced sometime in the mid-1970's.

By the way, if any of you ever become short on space from these great finds, by all means, feel free to send some of that appliance karma down here! :)
