I already have an Ampico baby grand and an Upright DuoArt pianola.  It's a cheaper model without electric.  A blower box was added much later.   In my warped little collector mind, I thought I needed two baby grands in the living room.  This one had been available for too long as was teasing...

Laundress, I agree.   It's very easy to delete an ad and put it back up if the sale would fall through.  CL ads run for 45 days here.   In any case, I am thrilled to see this person offer this machine for free and allow it to be saved.  So many others just want stuff gone and away it goes to...

Ralph,   The Ampico is in the shop.  This is a Duo Art.  I felt sorry for it and figured I could have both in the living room.

I succumbed today to another baby grand. This one is an Aeolian Duo Art. I need to learn to play.

It's a nice looking machine.  Someone here will surely make you an offer.   FYI, I just brought home a yellow Maytag pair for $100.  I would say that you're looking at $300 or less.  It all depends of who is willing to drive or who might have fond memories of that model.

Justin,   That's a great looking and rare machine.  I'm happy you were able to save it.  Someone might have thought it would make a nice flower pot or something goofy like that.

This is the Maytag set from Bloomington.  Ray came by today and helped get them inside.  They appear to be in great shape.  Ray popped the lid and lost the balls.  I have lots of parts on order.  I don't see any sign of the transmission leaking below.

That's cool.  So much chrome and so many buttons to push.

Jeff,   Uship is hit or miss.  It really depends on where the item is and where it's going.  I am trying to get something out of northern Michigan now.   I have never paid to highlight a listing.  Most times I let shippers bid, sometimes I set a price.

LOL, the transmission isn't leaking. My hands are clean. They were in the basement. The seller is was great and got them loaded. I must look ridiculous going down the highway.

Thank you guys!   I once had a yellow pair that was beat.  I passed them onto another member.   These are untested, but clean.  I am going to pick them up tomorrow!  I miss my turquoise pair that Steve now has a little, but yellow will definitely fill the void.   My basement is so dreary...
