This is the Maytag set from Bloomington.  Ray came by today and helped get them inside.  They appear to be in great shape.  Ray popped the lid and lost the balls.  I have lots of parts on order.  I don't see any sign of the transmission leaking below.

Looks good, Travis! Are you going to run the drain hose through the floor?

They look great!

Interesting -- to me, anyway -- to see a Maytag washer of that age with a white tub.  I thought that was something Maytag didn't offer until the extra-large tubs came along.

Those look lovely! I love yellow on a Maytag, especially with a shine on the basket like that. Congrats.

Maytag used lots of dark blue - why just the other day...

So white came first?   That seems so backward to me.  Why did Maytag even bother to roll out the dark blue?  Was it cheaper to produce?  It certainly was less attractive, IMO.

Sunny Yellow is my favorite color - even more so than pink. i have this same Maytag washer (a 1962 model) in chocolate brown. The only difference is mine doesn't have the rotary switch for the spray rinse temperature.
