    Poppy red 1-18 project

CircleW. I'm afraid it's not my work... That's the exterior wall of the Gent's restroom at Shannon Falls Park in BC, Canada... midway between Whistler and Vancouver. And thank you. It's one of the very few photos of me that I like. (I figured the pink painted rock was a tribute to gay...

    Pink, no, PANK Ladies Kenmore

No such thing as a stupid question, right? KM & LK PS: What's with all the "hidden" control panels? I think I spy some in the background of your shots, as well. Were dials considered VULGAR? Was it a Orthodox kosher thing like burner covers for stoves? I've NEVER seen that before.

    Pink, no, PANK Ladies Kenmore

No such thing as a stupid question, right? KM & LK Ok... Kenmore and Lady Kenmore... I'm assuming that's what KM and LK mean on this post. What are the differences? (other than gender of the machines (Hi Robert!)} Is it a TOL vs BOL thing? In general, when I look at them. The LK seem more...

I LOVE the sage green machines. They look so clean and pristine, lean and mean. I think the faux bois on them is terribly keen.

    Platinum Whirlpool BD set?

I love the tear down pictures. Very cool. Thanks for sharing them!

    Heavy soil

Zipdang...That's hilarious: The Kenmore you linked to is the EXACT matching unit to the dryer I have. One of my clients also has it, as does my duplex neighbor... Funny thing: Both are VERY PRONE to going out of balance in the spin cycle. Has anyone else noticed this, if they have this model?

    Heavy soil

WOW! Great responses, you all. Thanks! The machine I'm currently running, is a Crosley Heavy Duty 20 , which I believe was manufactured by Maytag in '99. (I hope I have that right). It would make sense, as you have to underload it a bit to make it clean properly...although I do say that for a...

What year is this kenmore washer dryer set

How interesting. In all honest truth, this is the FIRST time I've ever seen a side opening dryer door. As mentioned above, I'd probably be one of the people who's washer was always "on the wrong side" of the dryer door if I had one.

    Heavy soil

Ok... here's a question for you all. Thinking of starting the search for a vintage machine, something with a lot of character that will stand up to being a "daily driver"... In your opinion, what machines clean really heavily soiled clothing the best? I work horses, and professionally, I am a...

    My Crazy Obsession

You come across as sane compared to the others. I never realized how similar you fellows looked until you're side by side...It's a matched set, like a washer and dryer. (Never heard that one before, have you? coff coff). Considering how easy it would have been to make this seem weird, it...

What year is this kenmore washer dryer set

??? What would be the reasoning behind a door that opens differently on the Candian models? That seems bizarre. I've never seen a dryer door that opens to the side like that. Every one I've ever used opened like an oven.

Avocado Green Kenmore Set in Norfolk, VA

No such thing as a stupid question, right? What is that thing in the dryer with the metal grid like thing set into the plastic...it looks like the little buttons on it once said "solid state"... is it to detect eventual dryness of the clothing?

    Normal?

Norgechief. I think you're correct. This is what I've been assuming, and what you say makes sense. Sorry on the Whirlpool bit, I meant to say Maytag... I must have been watching some wp videos or something when I'd written that.

    Normal?

Jon, Thanks for the effort, but somehow, I doubt that's it. My wash water is never very soapy or sudsy, certainly not at the bottom of the wash tub. I could understand if I had a Unimatic that was throwing tons of sudsy water into the outer cabinet and had to pump that out, but not in this...

    Normal?

Thank you all for your advice on the slow drain... I actually have been using a product that's cleared it quite a bit, however...no one is answering my main question which is: Why does the machine pump water out so much more forcefully on the final spin vs the wash spin? I assure you...the...

    WHAT'S IT ?

    a locker for steaming clothes?

    Normal?

But? Why does it pump out so strongly only on the final rinse, and not when pumping out the wash cycle? That's what seems bizarre. I have no problem when it pumps out the wash cycle, only the rinse.
