Shame washers and dishwashers no longer have rubber waste hoses

I don't think to the same extent that you do, but yes... I do understand. I grew up with the black rubber hose-pipe, and the cheap plastic corrigated doesn't have quite the same, I don't know: Flow, industrial vibe. There is something kind of substantial and old fashioned about them...Like the...

When it rains, the garage fills up

That Hotpoint cleaned up a treat. You should be able to sell those for a fair price if you wanted.

    My newest acquisitions...

Mrs. Teacher? This I learned today: I am learning that interesting people collect interesting washers... Cute photo, Jetcone. Yeah, I'd do the same thing with charcoal control towers... Rather like if I had a 1957 Citroen DS19.... Look, don't touch, don't even look so hard at my babies......

POD 6/6/12 (basic math) HOTPOINT PUSHBUTTON WASHER

I know a condenser dryer uses quite a bit of water... If I remember correctly quoted on a combo, it was 30 gallons. What is the energy usage compared to a traditional electric dryer, and does it take more or less time to do the job?

I like that story, Tom. That's charming.
