The washer
The washer is pristine for its age.The seller told me he got it from an abandoned storage unit like on that show Storage Wars.I think its been unused for 20 years.The machine has slightly worn centerpost bearings but other than that it sounds great.

Congrats on the NEW machines. Looks like you found some beauties there. Very low mileage.
Will these be going inside for daily use? I think the 3 speeds are hard to come by these days.

1968 Kenmore 800 Set
These are 1968 Kenmore 800s. These will be a part of my future vintage washer and dryer room (The E-Z sudzit Laundromat at my new Doogie Houser,The Hotel Costa Plente.)These will be used sparingly on weekends along with my 57 kenmore,49 bendix and 67 rollermatic,all found here.

A Roto-Flex treasure is right! I'm surprised the stickers are off they look so shiny. Was this the first year for Avocado Green? The pride of any laundry room, congrats on the great find!

I have one in white and love that washer.
Now you have step down agitation, but sometimes I dont want that
in certain wash loads.
I had the matching dryer and gave it to Martin ( Yogitunes )
the drum was not as nice as yours and I have no room for
extra dryers so thats that.
So I hope that things go well with the pair.
And would like to see a pick of your new Sudzit laundry room.

Hey Darren,you should know first of all that your machine was my inspiration to get this pair($300 for the machines and $500 to ship)I saw yours in a post and decided then I couldnt live without one.I sold a few like this in the 70s and 80s.I sold a pair like yours to a young couple in 1990 and they had them 18 years.When my washer room is built I will post pictures.
