very very very very strange hoover machine!

OMG... that was love at 1st site! That brings back memories! I was invited to a wedding in Italy back in 2002 I think and the 'bride to be' used to work in an appliance store, so, some days before the wedding, some friends and I went to see her at work to say 'hi', having not seen her for...

    Our new Zanussi ZWG7160P

Nice Zanussi but silly speed spin selection... I believe I've already congratulated you for your new washer... you're the 1 with the AEG and the Indesit aren't you? Nice to see that Zanussi changed the design of their paddles... and I really love that filter system accessible from inside the...

    Indesit problem!!!

Been there... done that... A Special Flashing Sequence... depending on how many times and which LED is doing the sequential flashing, it will indicate an error code. I used to have a list of error codes... I might still have it somewhere... but it didn't take me long until Indesit themselves...

    Rinse water level

Just out of curiousity... Being too the owner of a Hoover... I know that the rinse level in it is not always that high but only on emergencies. Are you saying that your Hoovers and Candys rinse like that as standard? As for the last picture... I also know that Indesit always rinses like...

    Antonio Merloni Electrolux

Oi... are you ganging up on me? Ok ok ok... LOL The drum looks Merloni... but the control panel has a typical Electrolux impression! And the one sold over here (UK) is exactly the same as 'Little Swan'. It's just different companies having a bit on the side... well... actually Antonio must...

    Antonio Merloni Electrolux

Not Antonio Merloni Hi Dex... I am not sure that machine's got anything to do with Antonio Merlony. The 4 paddle drum doesn't mean anything... my gran parents 1972 Zerowatt had a 4 paddle drum and it certainly wasn't Anthony's job LOL I think this is more having to do 'Vestel' who in turns...

    Indesit Antifoam

@ washboy2005 Funny your Hotpoint does that... my Hoover does exactly the opposite: it does high water lever rinses to dilute the high concentration of detergent rather than low water level ones as you suggested. Once the foam is gone (at least from the sump), it will resume doing low water...

V-Zug Adora SLQ Washing Machine "WetClean" Cycle

That drum is so shapy... and the paddles are wow! The drum in this machine as shown on these last few pix looks almost sexy :-P I quite see Favorit's point here though... this cycle is more like 'SoakClean' rather than 'WetClean'. No doubts about it being very effective with the utmost...

The last designs il post on here..i bet everyone is tired of them now.

AA40 Hi Qualin, the 'AA40' summarizes the energy label this type of wash falls into, therefore 'A' for the energy consumption and 'A' for wash result. There should be a third letter to indicate the efficiency of the spin cycle, as conventionally seen on the Euro Energy Consumption Labelling...

The last designs il post on here..i bet everyone is tired of them now.

Are you sure that's a FL? Hi Qualin... that machine in the picture would be a total novelty to me but I guess I would figure out how to use it. It's a TL though, not a FL as you suggested... isn't it? I can see there are quite a few dials though and I don't quite appreciate the fact that the...

Another article about Candy hit the newspaper today...

Disappointed not! Nrones, in reply to your earlier comment, I'm not disappointed at all. I have seen it in the works and while you're saying that the jet is activated a little longer than I expected, I can still appreciate the way it operates. It seemed more like a gentle mist to me... being...

Another article about Candy hit the newspaper today...

I LEVO this machine... opps... reshuffling... LOVE! I adore the EVO range... I keep thinking about replacing my Hoover with one of these, but I'm so affectionate to it!! Maybe I'll put the Hoover in the spare room :-D 'Glenfield', I know 'Candy' has shoved all their basic range in the past...

First, some info about changes in washing machines

18 Pounds American Washer... that's about 8kg right? Hi there... sorry for butting in... first congratulations to 'Launderess' for your profile picture showing my favourite actress of all times... Patricia Rout... I mean Mrs Bouquet! You were mentioning 18 pounds TL H-Axis washers and... on...

    Hotpoint Washer Exploded

Hi FL1012 Thanks for getting back to me. I feel you probably slightly misunderstood my words... I was referring to reviews from UK sites rather than from other European places: most of them get good reviews and few bad ones as it's the norm with almost any other product. Even if you take a...

    Hotpoint Washer Exploded

Long wash times... Hi 'domesticbliss', it seems that the many manufacturers take away some of the wash options we mostly love on their BOL versions, it's just the way the market goes... if you want more you've got to pay more! So, if you are into Beko, just make sure the model you're after...

    Number of Rinses Indesit IWD5123

Just my liitle say... Hi Aeg03... I'm actually surprised to see that you of all people finished up with an Indesit :-P I appreciate the facts that these particular models shake a lot during spin but I still can't share the advisor's view about it being lightweight: I've had to move my ex...

Why are Top Loaders Cheaper than Front Loaders?

If I may... I don't quite agree there :-O @ Launderess: I found that a front loader is suitable for anything in my book. I've washed anything possible and imaginable in my front loader of any size and shape and no once I've experienced an imbalance drama or any issues of any sort. Wash times...

Why are Top Loaders Cheaper than Front Loaders?

I'm getting changed as I type this message :-) I see where you're coming from in what you're saying... that would make me a true European for sure! Yes... I often find myself hopping on one leg trying to get out of my clothes while my index finger prepares to press the start button on the...
