    Siemens equals embarrasment

Dascot, there was a Siemens Black set produced for the Uk, my aunt who has had the set for a while has no problems with it (what 6 years now? I'm sure it was 2008/9) . It doesn't have their IQ drive (does have the anti-vibrate design though - dont think that's shown in the brochure, but is on...

    Siemens equals embarrasment

Super 40 didn't allow any options on the Uk condenser models (as far as I am aware). My aunts black pair for instance, doesn't allow a selection on super 40. Siemens are in no way an embarrassment, their machines are just as good as Miele (most made in Germany), and no where near as expensive...

Hotpoint / Indesit Dishwasher recall UK 2014

Its the same recall they have had out since 2012. Its just appeared more prominent on their website, due to the website update. But its also recently featured on Watchdog, to highlight the fault more. at least they're actually testing their products though, so many manufacturers don't. could...

    Dishwasher Bearings

I pressume its like the motor bearings in a washing machine, they very rarely go, and there's no hazzard, just it'll increase in noise, and can eventually collapse, usually resulting in the motor malfunctioning. If its only just started making the noise, then don't worryzbout it, all items...

    I hate my Samsung Dishwasher

Hello YoBlount & Welcome I've no experience with Samsung dishwashers, but will certainly be avoiding them in future.

HELP! New dishwasher not dissolving powder detergent!

You do realise most dishwashers wont even add the detergent until about 15 minutes in right? You shouldn't open the door during the cycle, you should let it go through the cycle, and ideally leave several hours after (to let effective drying), then open the door, if powder is left then, then you...

Odd Beko and some other new stuff

Yes the Hotpoint Chrome models are new (the Ultima s-line), just like their Smart range (you guys are also now selling), and the new Aquarius+ range (you are also now selling). Juts like the new First edition you also now selling, and a range of new Tumble dryers from Hotpoint, you guys finally...

    Samsung Baby Care Washer

Nice little machine, and it looks like it does use quite a bit of water too :) Plus I notice, theres only one temperature choice (Hot)! The cycle may be long, but cant be as long as the front loaders we have here, going on some settings for 3hrs, in fact, thats average now.

New Hotpoint's Without Eco Wash Launched (FUTURA)

Its a different font, and the buttons are up down, as opposed to across (like on the previous/current range), (Different buttons too) Its got a wave drum, current ones only had wave paddles and smooth drum. The dial has OFF included, no off/on button.

New Hotpoint's Without Eco Wash Launched (FUTURA)

New Aquarius dryer Aquarius dryer's have relaunched, with a rather different (Hoover style) control panel. There's a vented, and condenser models, both in white, Classic Cream (or Almond) or Graphite Wonder if we'll see some design changes to Aquarius washers, which didn't launch that long ago...

Odd Beko and some other new stuff

That Innex link is to a current model. The new Innex models feature 2 small dials, and some feature also a small display (XWD, XWC models). The new Beko's look all right, but wont be buying one. The LG's are also nothing new. Hotpoint aren't making the microwaves, there made by a different...

New LG washing machine May 2014

Long time anyway Well what ever it is, is too long for me, 3hrs is good, more though, and it's too long!

New LG washing machine May 2014

A+++-40% is basically 40% more efficient than A+++ model - so its A+++++++ or A-70%The downside - washing in this mode takes about 6hrs, the good news though, is significant energy saving. Bosch sell an A+++-50% in Germany, and apparently thats an 8hr cycle.

    HOTPOINT Ultima "FINAL SPIN"

I find my Hotpoint (nearly a year old now) is a lot better at Balancing (thanks to it doing a longer initial build up than simply launching to distribute), its usually a first time and go, however when it does do its balance trash, which is pretty similar to the old models, just slightly longer...

6 year old Indesit WIB111 mould

Hot washes certainly do work! My machine has (and 1 year old next month) needed only special cleaning cycle with Citric acid [It probably didn't actually need it]. Its because I very often run the Whites 60C programme (which is a programme that holds at 60C for over an hour) and never...

New Hotpoint's Without Eco Wash Launched (FUTURA)

This comment isn't meant to be harsh, or cause argument! Oops - Made a mistake!! Thought they were all 52-54% remaining moisture!! (its a good job I didn't state it as a fact!) All (well most!) 1600rpm are actually 44% which is actually very good. Thanks Jon (lavamat_Jon) for pointing this out...

New Hotpoint's Without Eco Wash Launched (FUTURA)

Finally a 10Kg, 1600 spin version has launched too. It mentions on Curry's that only 44% water remains after full spin (If I remember correct, this makes it the driest results on the whole market based on the 1600 category)...

6 year old Indesit WIB111 mould

This is what happens if you combine Liquid/Gel's with a 30C cycle, and mini 30 cycle. I would once a week select 60C or above, with Towels and powder detergent. In the meantime, run as listed above by henene!
