For the nice looking piece it is, at least on the outside, I'd say $50 isn't bad. I'd definitey like a peek at the cover off just to make sure there's no surprises. but see if an offer of $40 would go. That doesn't sound unfair either.

I know that dehumidifier A friend of mine has that exact same one. (Although the label is a little more worn & not as clean cosmetically.) It's a great unit, and seems to really pull the moisture out of the air well. Not sure if it has an automatic shutoff or anything to stop it from overflowing.
