    I love them I keep three sets on my front porch. Two sets tinkle in the wind. The third set has more of a tubular bells sound. I enjoy listening to them, and they also serve a purpose as being by the neighbors bedroom window, I feel I am getting even for their little dog that barks 28 hours...

    I had the issues with my KA a year back Actually fought with Sear's home warranty for two years, then finally went to repair clinic and fixed the issue myself. New fill valve.

    You can still get original equipment oster blades on Amazon. I bought two sets with rubber seals for $8. The blades are the same for all models from what I understand.

    There was a Frigidaire dishwasher in my house when I bought it. It ended up staying for a month. It was not a dishwasher, it was a dish wetter. The dishes came out dirtier than they went in. I put it to the curb and installed a Maytag 300 quiet series.

    Maytag Neptune TL!

    Going into suds routine at the start of cycle Could indicate a bad pressure sensor, or a clogged tube. I had this happen on my Maytag FL, it would immediately go into suds when started. Repair was a new pressure sensor, no more issues.

    Mike I am glad you mentioned the stench with Tide 10X. It is awful. The smell lingers in the washer, on the clothes, it is strong, and very unpleasant. The detergent worked ok, but the smell is a killer for me using it.

    Well since this thread is almost seven  years old, to prevent discussion into perpetuity I will only state.  Pre-wash?  Why?  I have a dog, sometimes they are so clean I don't even bother putting them in the dishwasher.

    Did you check the full tube. The tube from the emptor to the bag is a common area for a blockage.

    My house has both Mine was built in 1935, and as was the custom in many depression era houses.  The public areas, Main living room, formal dining room, are Mahogany.  The private areas, like the bedrooms, bath and hallway is painted pine.

    Bad keepers friend Is your friend as well as Cook's cooktop cleaner and conditioner. Burnt on food can be loosened with a Dawn dishwashing detergent, then cover with a wet cloth to soak.

    Not for Towels Which I use either Tide powder, or Gain flings. I do, however, use the cheap detergents, right now All pods for my blue jeans and flannel shirts. It does a good job, even with the dusty, grimy stuff from doing yard work.
