Don’t overdo the fabric softener, set your warm water to 105, your hot water to 140, and use bleach when you wash your whites. You will never have an issue with smells if you follow those rules.

I’m not sure about the GE. However, I personally haven’t had luck with that particular Whirlpool wash system.

How does the FF7 know how much water to put in the machine? Does it have a sensor or is it based on manual selection? Thanks!

Maytag Im with John. The basic Maytag has a self cleaning filter and you won’t have to worry if the tenants are cleaning the manual filter.

I bought a 1999 Whirlpool to get me buy until I buy my LG FL set next year. I have to say my clothes have never been softer. I believe they use the same tried and true design on the new ones.

Surprise! Well, I called around some more. I found a Miele dealer that could get me a G5006 in 3-4 weeks so I canceled my Lowes order and jumped on it. I and am getting the dishwasher I had my heart set on!

Yesterday I picked up a Whirlpool LER4634EQ2 that wasn’t drying. Tested everything with a multimeter and found that the heating element was bad. I bought a heating element kit. It’s non-OEM. So, would it be wise to replace the fuses and thermostats as well or just leave the OEM parts on...

Thanks Glenn How well do they clean compared to a Speed Queen 9 series? My dryer died and I could either buy a used Whirlpool dryer for $100 to go along with my Speed Queen. or a used Neptune set for $300 to get me by until I can afford a new LG set.

Would there be any way that over time pet hair and lint could clog the recirculating lines or pump ? Or is there a filter for the recirculating pump?
