Well I found out the dryer is gas an I can’t use it and he wouldn’t sell just the washer. I hated to have to split the set as well if I did get it! Hope someone from the group can save these!

Age It was manufactured January of 1989 so she’s 33 years old

Yes that’s what happens, set the cycle and she said sometimes it takes up to 5 minutes then it will start filling on its own. I was thinking timer or lid switch? She said she thought it was normal because it was a older washer lol. Here are a few more pics!
